Washoe Hydroelectric Powerhouse Improvements - CMAR Services

The Truckee Meadows Water Authority (TMWA) is seeking a qualified firm to provide Construction Manager/General Contractor (CMAR) services for the Washoe Hydroelectric Powerhouse Improvements project. The project involves the demolition of the existing powerhouse and the construction of a new powerhouse with a concrete lower level that will house new turbine generators, switchgear, and electrical controls. The project also includes the replacement of the transformer, penstock interconnect, and general site improvements. The Engineer's estimate for the project is $12,000,000.00. • The project is deemed a Horizontal Construction Project. • A mandatory site visit will take place immediately following the pre-proposal meeting. • Proposals will be accepted from only those proposers in attendance at the meeting and site visit. • Questions regarding the solicitation must be submitted through the Questions Tab no later than six business days before proposals are due.
