Citywide Open-End Bridge Design Consultant Services

The District of Columbia Department of Transportation is seeking qualified architecture and engineering firms to serve as the Citywide Open‑End Bridge Design Consultant. The selected consultant will provide comprehensive design services for existing and future bridge projects throughout Washington, DC, including feasibility studies, conceptual and detailed design, design‑build support, and coordination with construction teams. This open‑ended contract allows ongoing design assistance as new bridge needs arise across the district. • Provide architectural and structural engineering design for bridges citywide • Deliver design documents, specifications, and calculations in accordance with DC standards • Offer ongoing consulting, project coordination, and construction‑phase support for bridge projects • Must hold appropriate licenses and experience in bridge design and public‑sector projects • Work will be performed primarily in Washington, DC with occasional site visits as needed
