Armed Security Guard Services for BGS

The Commonwealth of Kentucky is seeking a vendor to provide armed security guard services for the Bluegrass Station Division. The services will include access control, security gate register, security patrols and traffic controls, monitoring security cameras, and emergency responses. The vendor will provide approximately 576 hours per week of armed security guard services, scheduled to meet the daily needs of the facility. The contract will be for a period of 24 months, with the option to extend for four additional two-year periods. * Key responsibilities include: * Providing armed security guards to prevent unauthorized access to the facility * Maintaining a security gate register and completing it on a daily basis * Conducting security patrols and traffic controls to prevent theft and vandalism * Monitoring security cameras to ensure safety and security requirements are met * Responding to emergency situations and providing assistance to first responders * The vendor must have experience working in a high-level security clearance environment and providing security guard services for similar facilities. * The vendor must also provide a minimum of one motorized vehicle, capable of ensuring continuity of patrol activities around the perimeter of the 780-acre site.
