Description
The VA OIT is conducting market research for an enterprise‑wide, modular, cloud‑based Healthcare Data Auditing, Billing and Coding Optimization Software to be used across the Veterans Health Administration. The RFI seeks detailed industry input on architecture, capabilities, integration standards, licensing, pricing, implementation, and risk mitigation. Respondents must describe their organization, proposed solution, available functionalities, data ownership rights, and provide notional cost estimates, all within a 20‑page response submitted by email.
• Desired outcomes include improved coding accuracy, configurable workflows, real‑time data exchange, comprehensive reporting, and reduced manual effort.
• Core capabilities required span enterprise platform/UX, coding & encounter management, clinical documentation integrity, billing/claim editing, workflow auditability, integration with VistA and other VA systems, analytics, cybersecurity, and hosting/continuity options.
• The response must address 19 specific questions covering architecture, availability of features, standards support, data export rights, licensing models, pricing, acquisition strategy, and risk mitigation.
