Engineering Services for Arc Flash Study at the Power Plant

The City of Ames is seeking a consulting firm to provide engineering services for an Arc Flash Study at the Power Plant. The study will include analyzing the plant's internal electrical distribution and protection system, performing short circuit/fault current analysis, protective device coordination analysis, and incident energies and associated working distances. The selected firm will provide a final report, short circuit and coordination results, time-current characteristic curves, arc flash labels, and complete system model files. The firm will also provide an optional scope and fee for on-site training for Power Plant staff.
