Switchyard Park CCTV System Restoration RFP

The City of Bloomington is seeking a qualified vendor to restore and enhance the CCTV system at Switchyard Park. The project involves replacing failed hardware, documenting system updates, and coordinating with the City's Information & Technology Services (ITS) Department. The selected vendor will be responsible for inspecting and diagnosing non-functioning cameras, identifying and replacing defective switches, power supplies, and PoE injectors, and providing cost proposals for replacement equipment. The vendor will also be required to restore system connection via the Milestone XProtect 2022 server and confirm firmware compatibility. • The project requires experience with outdoor municipal surveillance systems and knowledge of Milestone XProtect video management platforms. • The vendor must demonstrate the capability to deliver work in compliance with local standards and codes. • The project involves a detailed work plan, equipment and labor pricing, and a proposed timeline for completion. • The City prefers milestone-based payments tied to deliverables such as equipment delivery, installation completion, system testing, and final acceptance. • The vendor must provide a minimum of three references from recent projects of comparable size and scope.
