The U.S. Department of Defense is seeking a qualified small‑business contractor to replace a 150 kVA emergency diesel generator at Building 121, Camp Zama, Japan. The work includes de‑commissioning and environmentally‑compliant disposal of the existing unit, delivery and installation of a new 150 kVA diesel generator, full integration with the existing automatic transfer switch, a minimum eight‑hour load test, commissioning, training for DoD personnel, and a two‑year on‑site warranty/support arrangement. All work must be performed in Japan, and non‑Japanese vendors must provide a verified local service partner.
