Redevelopment and/or Reuse Partner for Vacant Wheat Ridge Elementary Schools

The City of Wheat Ridge is seeking a partner to redevelop or reuse two vacant public elementary school properties, Kullerstrand Elementary School and Wilmore Davis Elementary School. The city intends to retain a portion of each property for parks and recreation purposes and is seeking a partner to redevelop or reuse the remaining portions. The selected partner will work with the city to submit a proposal to Jefferson County Public Schools for each property. The proposal should include a description of the proposed project, financing information, and information about the respondent's experience and qualifications. The city is seeking a partner that can demonstrate a clear understanding of the city's goals and objectives and can provide a viable and feasible proposal for the redevelopment or reuse of the properties. • The city is seeking a partner to redevelop or reuse the properties in a way that is consistent with the city's comprehensive plan and parks and recreation pathway. • The partner should have experience with similar projects and should be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the city's goals and objectives. • The proposal should include a description of the proposed project, financing information, and information about the respondent's experience and qualifications. • The city is seeking a long-term partner that can work with the city to achieve its goals and objectives. • The partner should be able to demonstrate a commitment to the city's vision and should be able to provide a viable and feasible proposal for the redevelopment or reuse of the properties.
