Description
The City of Long Beach is seeking a qualified plumbing contractor to provide full‑service, as‑needed plumbing maintenance, repair, and emergency response for its facilities. The contractor must be a California‑licensed C‑36 plumbing contractor, maintain DIR registration, and be able to respond 24/7 to emergencies, with specific response‑time commitments. Work includes routine maintenance, urgent repairs, emergency call‑outs, video‑camera inspections, hydro‑jetting, leak detection, and coordination of disruptive repairs while minimizing impact to city operations. The contract is a two‑year base term with up to three one‑year extensions, and payment will be on a per‑occurrence basis according to rates submitted in the cost proposal.
