Architectural / Engineering Services Request for Qualifications

The Woonsocket Housing Authority is seeking qualified architectural and engineering firms to provide design services for various projects. The contract will be awarded based on a "Best Value" basis, considering factors such as ability to perform the work, capability to provide professional services in a timely manner, past performance, and knowledge of local building codes and federal building alterations requirements. The contract will be for an initial period of one year with the option for two additional one-year periods. The successful proposer will be required to provide proof of insurance and licensing prior to contract award. • The scope of work includes site planning, complex boiler room retro-fit planning, roof work, exterior siding and trim, window replacement, lead abatement, electrical services, elevator services, and fire, smoke, and carbon monoxide detector installation requirements. • The proposer must submit a proposal that includes a form of proposal, certifications and representations of offerors, profile of firm form, proposed services, managerial capacity/financial viability, client information, and equal employment opportunity information. • The evaluation committee will evaluate proposals based on the factors listed in Section 4.1 of the RFQ document. • The contract will be awarded to the proposer that offers the best value to the Housing Authority, based on the evaluation factors.
