Professional Design Services For Tyrrell School Roof & RTU Replacement

The State of Connecticut’s Department of Administrative Services (DAS) is seeking professional design services to develop construction documents and related engineering design for the replacement of the roof and rooftop HVAC units (RTU) at Tyrrell Middle School in Wolcott. The scope includes architectural, structural, mechanical, and electrical design, coordination with the school district, preparation of bid packages, and compliance with state and local building codes. • Architectural design of a new roof system for the entire school building. • Mechanical design for replacement of rooftop HVAC units, including ductwork and controls. • Structural analysis and detailing for roof‑deck and supporting elements. • Electrical design for power and lighting associated with the new roof and HVAC equipment. • Preparation of construction drawings, specifications, and bid documents. • Coordination with Wolcott Board of Education and local permitting agencies. • Deliverables due in phases aligned with the construction schedule.
