Audit Services for Antelope Union High School District

Antelope Union High School District #50 is seeking a qualified firm to provide Audit Services starting with the FY 24-25 audit. The district is currently in receivership status for overspending their budget, but their status of non-compliance with the USFR standards has been cleared. The selected firm will be responsible for providing audit services for a period of 5 years. The proposal should include the firm's qualifications, experience, and approach to auditing school districts, as well as their pricing proposal. The district reserves the right to cancel the contract at any time without penalty or recourse. Some key requirements for the audit firm include: * The auditors must be properly licensed certified public accountants or persons working for a licensed certified public accounting (CPA) firm according to GAS. * The audit firm must meet the independence requirements of GAS. * The audit firm must not have a record of substandard audit work for the last 5 years. * The audit firm must have an external quality control review performed at least every 3 years in accordance with GAS. * The audit firm must meet the continuing education requirements of GAS.
