RFP to create pool of print/direct mail vendors

Washington State University is seeking proposals from vendors with expertise in a variety of different areas in support of print and digital communications for the WSU system. The goal is to create a list of 3-5 approved vendors for each of five types of outputs for internal WSU staff to select from. The five types of outputs are: Traditional Printing and Finishing Services, Large Format Printing, Finishing and Installation Services, Specialty Printing and Finishing Services, Direct Mail Services, and Ordering/Customer Service. • Traditional Printing and Finishing Services: digital and offset printing equipment, bindery, finishing, and mailing fulfillment equipment • Large Format Printing, Finishing and Installation Services: wide format printing and finishing equipment, large format indoor and outdoor environmental graphics printing and installation services • Specialty Printing and Finishing Services: specialty printing options such as flood/spot varnish and custom inks, specialized finishing services such as em/debossing, foiling, custom die cutting • Direct Mail Services: direct mail services, list cleansing and NCOA processing for bulk mail, protection of sensitive client-supplied data • Ordering/Customer Service: Web to print order portal, digital and hard copy proofs, typical proofing interaction, delivery times for standard business items
