6530--FY 25: BARIATRIC BEDS

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System, intends to negotiate a sole-source contract for bariatric beds. The contract will be awarded to Hill-Rom Services, the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM), now under Baxter. The proposed contract is for items for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Firms who want to challenge the single source must show clear and convincing evidence of their capability to provide the supplies, and that competition would be advantageous to the Government.
