DOCUMENT DESTRUCTION/SHREDDING SERVICE FOR US CENSUS BUREAU'S 6 REGIONAL OFFICES

The U.S. Census Bureau is seeking responsible vendors to provide commercial on-site shredding services, including locked shredding containers and secure destruction of sensitive documents, for its 6 regional offices. The contract will have a one-year base period with three option years. The contractor must provide secure containers, pickup and destruction services, and maintain a verifiable chain of custody. The contractor must also comply with federal information security and privacy requirements. Some key points to consider are: • The contractor must have NAID AAA Certification or equivalent industry-recognized certification for secure document destruction. • The contractor must provide secure containers that can hold an average of 200lbs and have wheels. • The contractor must perform shredding/pickup on scheduled days and provide a formal certificate of destruction upon completion of service. • The contractor must maintain a verifiable chain of custody through RFID tracking and time-stamped logs. • The contractor must comply with federal information security and privacy requirements.
