Racetrack Safety Inspector-Hillsdale, Wyoming

The State of Wyoming, Wyoming Gaming Commission, is seeking a Racetrack Safety Inspector to conduct safety inspections of all horse racing tracks in Wyoming. The inspector will be responsible for ensuring that the tracks are safe for both equine and human athletes. The inspection will include all safety-related aspects of the racetrack, such as track surface, safety rails, starting gates, paddock, veterinarian test barn, barns, track maintenance equipment, and security. The inspector will be required to make a verbal report to the Wyoming Gaming Commission and the racetrack management team at the conclusion of each inspection, and submit a detailed written report after receiving laboratory submissions for the dirt samples taken during inspections. • The inspector will be responsible for conducting a thorough safety inspection of the racetrack prior to the start of the race meet. • The inspector will identify any deficiencies and communicate them to the Wyoming Gaming Commission and the racetrack management team. • The inspector will be required to re-inspect the deficient area after corrective actions have been taken. • The inspector will be considered a representative of the State of Wyoming and should conduct themselves in a professional and courteous manner.
