Description
The California Highway Patrol (CHP) seeks a vendor to provide, rent, clean, and maintain protective clothing and operational supplies for its Oakhurst Area Office. The contractor will deliver a weekly service cycle that includes pickup of soiled garments, cleaning, minor repairs, and delivery of cleaned/replacement items, with inventory management and quarterly reporting. The agreement runs from May 1 2027 through May 31 2030 (subject to extensions) and requires the contractor to maintain required insurance, pass background checks for all personnel, and comply with state regulations, including DVBE incentives (though participation is waived).
• Provide new or like‑new protective clothing (jackets, shirts, trousers, coveralls, etc.) and a weekly pick‑up/delivery service.
• Perform cleaning, minor repairs, and replace unserviceable items at no cost to CHP.
• Conduct quarterly physical inventories and submit written reports; maintain insurance and driver‑license/fingerprint checks for all staff.
• Meet a 120‑day bid‑price validity period and adhere to all contract‑term insurance and reporting requirements.
