Flowing Prairie WMA- Drone Herbicide Spraying

The State of Minnesota, Department of Natural Resources, is seeking a contractor to provide drone herbicide spraying services for the Flowing Prairie Wildlife Management Area in Clay County. The project involves applying herbicides to 661 acres of land using a UAV/drone. The contractor must have the necessary equipment, licenses, and experience to complete the project. The scope of work includes conducting broadcast herbicide applications, providing GPS-guided spray patterns, and exporting GPS spray tracks. The contractor must also have a commercial pesticide applicator license and comply with all applicable laws and regulations. • The project requires the use of a UAV/drone to apply herbicides to 661 acres of land. • The contractor must have a Remote Operator/Pilot FAA certificate and a Commercial Pesticide Applicator license from the MN Department of Agriculture. • The contractor must provide a detailed work plan, including a description of deliverables, major tasks, and a scheduling and managing tool. • The contractor must have experience with similar work and provide references. • The contractor must comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including those related to pesticide use and environmental protection.
