Description
The City of Claremont is seeking a qualified contractor to fully renovate the outdoor pergola of the Padua Hills Theater. The scope includes demolition of existing components, structural repairs, installation of new roof panels, rain gutters, electrical conduit, fire‑sprinkler lines, brick caps, and a full finish coat of paint. All work must be performed by the prime contractor (no subcontractors), and the contractor must provide a 10 % bid bond, 100 % performance and payment bonds, and extensive insurance coverage. The project is constrained to a very narrow construction window (January 18 – February 1, 2027) and carries liquidated‑damage penalties of $1,000 per day for any delay beyond the stipulated completion dates.
