Request for Proposals for Purchase and Delivery of Bus Passenger Shelter for St. Lawrence County

St. Lawrence County is seeking bids from qualified vendors to purchase one (1), 12’ x 5’ bus passenger shelter with a solar lighting package. The bidders’ specifications must meet or exceed the minimum specifications shown below. Provide with your bid package specifications that you would like the County to review. The following specifications provide a minimum requirement for acceptable bus passenger shelter with bench. The shelter and bench must be built to comply with all ADA (Americans with Disabilities Act of 1990) requirements that apply to the construction of bus shelters. The shelter shall consist of a structural aluminum frame with four sides and a single opening. The roof style should be sloped, barreled or hip with appropriate engineering to satisfy local wind/snow load requirements. A bench shall be mounted to the shelter frame. A solar panel mounted on the roof must be included to provide night-time interior lighting and USB charging ports. The vendor shall provide all materials and equipment necessary for the fabrication, assembly, and delivery of the passenger shelter as hereinafter described. The Town of Massena will assemble the delivered product on site. Business enterprises awarded an identical or substantially similar procurement contract within the past five years: None
