Community Production Partner - Juneteenth Celebration 2027

The City of Asheville is seeking proposals from qualified organizations to plan and produce the City’s 2027 Juneteenth celebration. The event should honor the significance of Juneteenth and reflect community priorities. The proposal schedule includes a pre-proposal meeting, deadline to submit questions, and proposals due date. The city reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive informalities. • The City of Asheville is seeking a community production partner for the 2027 Juneteenth celebration. • The partner will be responsible for planning and producing the event. • The event should honor the significance of Juneteenth and reflect community priorities. • A pre-proposal meeting will be held on August 12, 2026, and attendance is highly encouraged but not mandatory. • Questions concerning the RFP should be submitted via email to the project manager, Jon Fillman.
