Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs)

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is seeking to procure Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs) to meet agency sustainability mandates for carbon pollution-free electricity. The RECs must be Green-e Energy certified (or equivalent) and generated from eligible renewable resources within the United States. The contract is for a total of 10,409 MWh of RECs. The successful contractor will be required to deliver the RECs and provide documentation, including a registry report and a signed statement confirming exclusive attribute ownership. • The RECs must be generated from eligible renewable resources, such as wind or solar, within the United States. • The RECs must be Green-e Energy certified (or equivalent). • The contractor must provide documentation, including a registry report and a signed statement confirming exclusive attribute ownership. • The contract is for a total of 10,409 MWh of RECs. • The contractor must ensure that the RECs are transferred and retired on behalf of NOAA.
