The Department of Veterans Affairs seeks a qualified contractor to provide short‑term, transitional residential housing with psychiatric step‑down services for veterans discharged from the VA Inpatient Mental Health Unit at the Rocky Mountain Regional VA Medical Center. The contractor must operate a licensed facility within 60 miles of Aurora, CO, deliver 24‑hour staffed care, manage medication administration, and coordinate transportation and case‑management for each veteran. The contract is a firm‑fixed‑price, $90 per “bed‑day” rate with a 12‑month base period and up to four one‑year options, totaling up to five years of performance.
• Provide short‑term, transitional residential care (including optional Mental Health Transitional Living homes) for veterans.
• Maintain a licensed Colorado facility (MHTL Level I/II) with 24‑hour staffing, medication administration, and secure transport from the VA medical center.
