Description
California Highway Patrol is seeking a contractor to provide weekly rental, delivery, pickup, and replacement of operational towels and mats for its Metro Air Operations – Fullerton Office. The contractor must supply clean, sanitary glass towels (12"x24") and shop/bar towels (12"x12") in the quantities listed, along with slip‑resistant mats (4'x6'), and must manage a container for soiled items. Service is required one day per week during normal business hours, with a 4‑hour response time for any service failures. The contract runs for a three‑year base term with possible extensions, and the state does not guarantee a minimum purchase quantity.
• Provide 150 glass towels, 150 shop/bar towels, and 2 mats each week, plus a container for soiled items.
• Deliver, pick up, and replace items weekly; obtain signatures from CHP personnel for each transaction.
• Maintain quarterly inventory inspections, insure against loss/damage, and meet all insurance, licensing, and security clearances.
• Pricing is per‑item (rates TBD); invoices submitted monthly in arrears.
• Small‑business, DVBE, and subcontractor preferences are available but optional.
