Description
The California Highway Patrol is seeking a qualified vendor to provide rental, replacement, and maintenance of protective clothing and operational supplies (uniforms, mats, shop towels, etc.) for its Needles Area Office. The contractor will be responsible for weekly delivery, collection, cleaning, and inventory management of uniform sets for CHP personnel, as well as supplying related operational items such as slip‑resistant mats and mopheads. The agreement runs for roughly two years, beginning February 1 2027, with performance windows Monday‑Friday, 8 am‑4 pm, and includes requirements for security clearances, insurance, and adherence to state policies on generative AI and sanctions.
• Provide weekly rental and replacement of a defined uniform inventory (jackets, shirts, trousers, coveralls) for each employee.
• Deliver, collect, and manage associated operational supplies (floor mats, shop towels, mopheads) and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Meet strict security, insurance, and compliance requirements, including fingerprint checks, background screening, and disclosure of any generative‑AI usage.
