The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a Service‑Disabled Veteran‑Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to perform a comprehensive structural assessment of the roof deck and welded‑steel‑bar joists for Building 8 at the John J. Pershing VA Medical Center in Poplar Bluff, Missouri. The contractor must conduct visual inspections, concrete sounding, non‑destructive reinforcement scanning, corrosion evaluation of steel joists, and masonry‑parapet interface reviews, then deliver detailed reports, condition maps, mitigation recommendations, cost estimates, and a full set of design deliverables (preliminary layout, design‑development, bid documents, conformed and as‑built drawings).
