Finlay Park Music and Festival Planning Contractor

The City of Columbia is seeking a contractor to provide professional music, festival, and event planning services for Finlay Park. The selected contractor will assist the City with planning, coordinating, promoting, and executing high-quality public events. Services may include event concept development, entertainment booking, vendor coordination, production planning, sponsorship support, marketing assistance, logistical coordination, day-of event management, and post-event evaluation. The contractor will serve as an extension of the City's event team and will work closely with the Project Manager to deliver a safe, organized, and visitor-friendly experience. • The contractor will be responsible for planning and executing events at Finlay Park, including concerts, festivals, and cultural events. • The contractor will provide turnkey or task-specific services as assigned by the City. • The contractor will work with the City to develop a marketing plan for each assigned event, including audience targeting, messaging, creative concept, channels, budget, timeline, sponsor integration, and performance metrics. • The contractor will coordinate event operations and logistics, including staffing, rentals, travel, hospitality, credentials, vendor coordination, sanitation, site set-up, and tear-down. • The contractor will ensure that all events are executed in accordance with City policies, park rules, and applicable laws and regulations.
