Description
The Central Unified School District (CUSD) in Fresno, CA is seeking a qualified vendor to supply and deliver pool chemicals (sodium hypochlorite 12.5% and hydrochloric acid 15%) on a regular schedule for two school aquatic facilities, and to install or replace up to five chemical storage tanks. The contract is a one‑year base period with the option for two additional one‑year extensions, and includes required safety, environmental, and insurance compliance. Vendors must provide Class A CDL drivers with HazMat and tanker endorsements and must submit a sealed bid package by the deadline.
• Supply and weekly delivery of sodium hypochlorite (≈ 42,000 gal/yr) and as‑needed delivery of hydrochloric acid (≈ 11,500 gal/yr).
• Removal of existing tanks and installation of up to five new tanks during a Dec 21‑31 2026 window (excluding Dec 24‑25).
• All deliveries must meet DOT, OSHA, Cal‑OSHA, EPA, CARB, and other state regulations; insurance of $2 M/$4 M GL and $1 M auto required.
