Description
The U.S. Army is seeking a qualified performer to develop and demonstrate a lightweight, autonomous (or optionally crewed) launcher system (CAML‑Lite) that can be fielded for a live‑fire demonstration at the Talisman Sabre 2027 (TS‑27) exercise. The effort is structured in two phases: Phase 1 focuses on delivering a complete prototype for an August 2027 demonstration, along with a priced, unexercised option for up to six additional units, training, and logistics support; Phase 2 will mature the solution toward a production‑representative prototype and integrate it into a common CAML architecture. The contract will be awarded under Other Transaction Authority (OTA) with firm‑fixed‑price terms, and the government will fund only a portion of the Phase 1 demonstration, requiring a substantial cash investment from the performer. Key requirements include MOSA compliance, extensive safety and cybersecurity documentation, unlimited and government‑purpose data rights, and a mandatory Right‑to‑Repair provision. The performer must have a facility cleared to handle SECRET‑level information and be capable of transporting the system internationally to Australia, meeting customs, bio‑security, and export‑control requirements.
• Deliver a complete CAML‑Lite prototype (vehicle, launcher, reload system) ready for an August 2027 live‑fire demo at TS‑27.
• Provide all required safety, cybersecurity (IATT), and MOSA documentation, including an Open System Management Plan and interface control documents.
• Offer a priced, unexercised option for up to six additional units, new‑equipment training (NET), and contractor logistics support (CLS); the government may exercise any option component within 90 days after the demonstration report.
• Commit a defined cash investment to cover the portion of Phase 1 costs not funded by the government and grant unlimited and government‑purpose data rights plus a Right‑to‑Repair provision.
