Developer/Operator to Design, Fund, Maintain and Operate a Restaurant “Old Town Arts and Entertainment District” 11 N.E. 1st Street

The Pompano Beach Community Redevelopment Agency (CRA) is seeking a qualified respondent to design, fund, maintain, and operate a restaurant in the Old Town Arts and Entertainment District. The selected respondent will be required to enter into a Development Agreement and Lease with the CRA. The CRA will contribute $550,000 to the renovation of the existing building or construction of a new building on the property. The proposed restaurant should be a unique, diverse style restaurant or craft brewery with a food component, and should include rooftop seating and an enclosed dumpster area. • The respondent should have proven experience, financial resources, and professional expertise to design, renovate, and construct a new restaurant on the site. • The respondent should provide a detailed development pro-forma, financing plan, and project design/development concept. • The respondent should have a strong understanding of the project's requirements and be able to demonstrate their ability to meet those requirements. • The respondent should be able to provide references for similar projects and demonstrate their experience in the food and beverage industry. • The respondent should be able to provide a comprehensive operations plan, including hours of operation, trash handling, and deliveries.
