Request for Proposals for Professional Consulting Services to serve as County Surveyor

Teton County, Wyoming is seeking a professional land surveyor to serve as the County Surveyor. The selected surveyor will be expected to dedicate approximately 8-16 hours per week to the execution of their duties, which will include conducting surveys, reviewing plats and land development records, and providing consulting services to the Engineering and Road & Levee Divisions of Teton County Public Works. The contract is anticipated to run from May 2026 through May 2028, with an option for a 2-year renewal period. The successful applicant will be required to have a professional land surveyor license in the State of Wyoming and experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D software. • Reviewing plats, easements, and other land development records • Surveying, research, and consulting for the Engineering and Road & Levee Divisions • Reviewing land record-related work prepared by County staff • Providing occasional review and coordination with other staff and contractors • Investigating existing records and preparing legal descriptions, easements, plats, or maps
