DYS TRANSITION TO INDEPENDENT LIVING

The Department of Youth Services (DYS) desires to competitively procure five Independent Living Programs to create capacity across the state to support young people transitioning to their own homes as part of discharging from DYS. The program aims to provide independent living services to males and females statewide. The Bidders Conference will be held virtually on April 16, 2026, and attendance is not a prerequisite for responding to this RFR. Key aspects of the job include: • Providing independent living services to young people • Creating capacity across the state to support transitioning to own homes • Discharging from DYS • Program implementation and management • Compliance with DYS regulations and requirements The project's scope of work involves creating and implementing independent living programs, which may include providing housing, education, and employment services to support young people in their transition to independent living.
