RFP 27.130300-003-007 Structural Steel for Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) Tanks

Virginia Commercial Space Flight Authority seeks qualified contractors to fabricate and install structural steel and helical piles for a Liquid Nitrogen (LN2) tank access platform at Pad 0A on the Mid‑Atlantic Regional Spaceport, Wallops Island, VA. The scope includes detailed engineering, material procurement, welding, erection of steel frameworks, and installation of helically driven piles to support the LN2 tank structure. This work is critical to support upcoming launch vehicle propellant handling operations. • Fabrication of custom steel members and platforms per engineered drawings. • Installation of helical piles and associated foundations to meet load requirements. • Coordination with VCSA and Wallops Flight Facility for site access, safety, and schedule compliance. • Deliverables include as‑built documentation, testing reports, and warranty provisions.
