Description
The McIntosh County Board of Commissioners is seeking sealed bids for the 2025 Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) water system improvements project. The scope includes installing approximately 8,956 linear feet of 6‑inch Class 150 PVC water main, seven mechanical‑joint ductile‑iron gate valves, twelve three‑way fire hydrants, two connections to existing mains, removal and replacement of about 40 square yards of Class A pavement, a new 5,000‑gallon hydropneumatic tank, erosion control measures, and all necessary appurtenances. Bidders must submit sealed bids by 1:00 PM on December 1, 2026, provide a 10 % bid bond, and complete the work within 60 consecutive calendar days after receiving a notice to proceed.
