Furnish, Deliver, and Install Turnkey Grid-Tied Solar Arrays (60 kW Total) for the WCROC

The University of Minnesota West Central Research and Outreach Center (WCROC) is seeking a complete turnkey/design build services and equipment installation for a grid-tied system that includes approximately 60 kW DC of bi-facial solar modules. The system will be used to collect solar energy in cow pastures while providing shade to grazing cows. The scope of work includes furnishing, delivering, and installing turnkey grid-tied solar arrays, including all necessary mounting boxes, conduit, and components to make the system weatherproof. The successful bidder will also be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and interconnecting the system with the Runestone Electric Association electric grid. The key aspects of the project are: • Furnish and deliver approximately 60 kW DC of bi-facial solar modules • Install the solar arrays in a configuration that includes fixed panels mounted vertically and panels mounted in a single axis tilt configuration • Provide all necessary mounting boxes, conduit, and components to make the system weatherproof • Obtain all necessary permits and interconnect the system with the Runestone Electric Association electric grid • Monitor power production from both arrays separately
