RFQ 2026-06 - Information Technology Needs Assessment and Strategic Plan

The City of Georgetown, Kentucky is seeking a professional firm to conduct a comprehensive assessment of the City's information systems infrastructure and develop a strategic plan to address short- and long-term IT needs. The selected firm will be required to have experience with municipal governments, particularly those with law enforcement agencies and 911 dispatch centers. The scope of work includes an IT needs assessment, technology inventory, and strategic plan development. The City desires to optimize its information systems to make service delivery more robust, convenient, and efficient. Key aspects of the project include: • Evaluating the City's existing information systems infrastructure • Identifying technological, service, and security gaps • Developing a strategic plan for improvement and sustainable management • Providing recommendations for meeting established needs and goals • Prioritizing improvement recommendations and system requirements • Providing cost estimates for each improvement recommendation and system requirement • Establishing an implementation schedule The City expects to award a contract with an initial term of one year, with the option to extend dependent upon satisfactory performance.
