Description
The South Tahoe Public Utility District is seeking qualified consulting firms to provide on‑call corrosion‑protection services for its water and wastewater infrastructure. Selected firms will be placed on a five‑year qualified‑consultant list and may be called upon via individual task orders for inspections, assessments, design, monitoring, and maintenance of pipelines, tanks, and related assets. Work will be performed under a Master Services Agreement with a potential contract horizon of up to ten years, but no guaranteed minimum volume of work is promised.
• Perform corrosion evaluations, failure analysis, and remaining‑life estimates for existing water‑utility assets.
• Design and specify new pipeline corrosion‑control measures, including cathodic‑protection systems and protective coatings.
• Provide specialty inspection services, such as coating inspections, CP system start‑up, and ongoing monitoring/maintenance.
