Engineering Services for Tanglewood and Sunset Well Control Buildings and Infrastructure Design

The South Lake Tahoe Public Utility District is seeking an engineering consulting firm to develop design plans and specifications for two municipal well control buildings (Tanglewood and Sunset) and associated infrastructure. The selected consultant will also secure necessary permits and conduct an initial environmental study with CEQA compliance recommendations. This effort will support the district’s water supply infrastructure and ensure proper well control facilities are in place. • Develop detailed civil and structural design documents for two well control buildings and related infrastructure. • Prepare and submit permit applications, including environmental impact assessments under CEQA. • Provide recommendations for compliance, construction phasing, and cost‑effective implementation. • Coordinate with district staff and regulatory agencies throughout the design and permitting process. • Deliver final construction‑ready drawings and specifications ready for contractor bidding.
