Description
This solicitation seeks a small‑business vendor to replace the existing overhead crane system in Building 9320 at Vandenberg Space Force Base, California. The scope includes removal of the old crane, engineering, fabrication, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a new under‑running single‑girder bridge crane with two cross‑mounted monorail hoists. All work is to be performed on‑site, with a delivery schedule of 36 weeks after order receipt, and will be evaluated using a Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) approach. The government will provide operator training and daily inspections, but the contractor is responsible for all design, fabrication, and installation activities, as well as required testing and certification documentation.
• Remove existing indoor overhead crane in Building 9320.
• Provide engineering, design, fabrication, delivery, installation, testing, and commissioning of a new bridge crane system with monorail hoists.
• Submit required technical data packages (drawings, test plans, certification reports, schedule, safety plan, spare parts list, etc.) to four Air Force points of contact.
• Must be a small‑business (≤ 1,250 employees) and meet all FAR and DFARS clause requirements.
