Commercial Internet USCG MSU Valdez

The US Coast Guard intends to award a sole source contract for commercial internet services for the US Coast Guard Marine Safety Unit (MSU) Valdez. The contract will be awarded to GCI COMMUNICATION CORP. and will include one base year of services with three one-year option periods. The period of performance will expire on 31 Mar 2029 if all options are exercised. The Government is seeking commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13. • The contract is for commercial internet services for the USCG MSU Valdez. • The contract will be awarded on a sole source basis due to the lack of alternative providers that can meet the agency's requirements without significant infrastructure repairs. • The period of performance will include one base year and three one-year option periods. • The Government intends to acquire commercial items and services using the provisions, clauses, and procedures prescribed in FAR Part 12 and FAR Part 13.
