Non-Emergent Medical Transportation Services - Phoenix VA Healthcare System

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking a contractor to provide non-emergent medical transportation services to the Phoenix VA Healthcare System. The contractor will be responsible for providing all vehicles, personnel, management, supplies, equipment, and necessary reporting for the provision of non-emergent wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory transportation services. The services will be provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including weekends and holidays. The contractor will be required to utilize the VetRide Vendor Portal or VA-Approved Transportation Software to receive and respond to electronic trip requests. The contract will be for a base period of 5 years, with the option to extend for an additional 4 years. Some key requirements of the contract include: * Providing non-emergent wheelchair, stretcher, and ambulatory transportation services * Utilizing the VetRide Vendor Portal or VA-Approved Transportation Software * Providing transportation services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week * Maintaining accurate records and providing reports as required * Complying with all federal, state, and local regulations * Providing qualified personnel to perform the services * Ensuring that all vehicles and equipment are properly maintained and meet all safety standards
