Dover Music Ministries

The Dover Air Force Base Chapel is seeking a contractor to provide music director and accompanist services for its Protestant Contemporary and Gospel services. The contractor will be responsible for leading congregational singing, providing musical accompaniment, and recruiting and training volunteers. The contractor must demonstrate an understanding of the religiously pluralistic and sensitive arena of numerous faith groups and denominational traditions. • The contractor will provide one music director and one music accompanist for each Catholic Mass and Protestant worship service. • The contractor will recruit, train, and supervise volunteers to form a vibrant and musical worship team. • The contractor will maintain a continuity binder for each music program, containing music lists, service plans, and standard operating procedures. • The contractor will ensure that all personnel employed by the contractor in the performance of this contract abide by all security instructions and directives of DAFB.
