VOLUNTARY EMPLOYEE BENEFITS BROKER

The City of Lynchburg is seeking a Voluntary Employee Benefits Broker to manage approximately 1,200 City and 1,530 Lynchburg City Schools employees’ voluntary benefits. The broker will be responsible for providing services such as Section 125 administration, flexible spending accounts, and voluntary supplemental employee benefits. The City aims to reduce internal administration, decrease costs, and provide the best employee benefit solutions and service in the industry. Key services include: • Managing voluntary benefits for City and Lynchburg City Schools employees • Providing Section 125 administration and flexible spending accounts • Coordinating with Human Resource Departments to assist employees in registering online for all health and voluntary benefits during the open enrollment period • Conducting annual surveys of insurance products’ performance and status • Providing administrative services, including system capabilities, data storage documentation, and processing and administering all new and existing payroll deductions The City is looking for a broker that can provide timely services, meet the requirements of the proposed schedule, and offer the best employee benefit solutions and service in the industry.
