DIAGNOSTIC EQUIPMENT, SOFTWARE, LAPTOPS AND TRAINING

The County of Ocean is seeking a qualified vendor to supply multi‑manufacturer diagnostic equipment, associated OEM and non‑OEM software, ruggedized laptops, and comprehensive technical training for its diverse vehicle fleet (passenger cars, light & heavy trucks, specialty and emergency vehicles). The contract must include software licensing, updates, a minimum one‑year warranty, and on‑site training delivered in six‑hour blocks at multiple county facilities or the vendor’s site within a 50‑mile radius. Training curriculum covers powertrain, electrical, brake, transmission, chassis, ADAS, cybersecurity, and heavy‑wrecker equipment, with class sizes of 6‑12 personnel and required pre‑session planning. Delivery of hardware/software is preferred within 30 days of purchase order, and the vendor remains fully responsible for any subcontractors used for training. • Provide OEM‑licensed and non‑OEM diagnostic tools (e.g., Ford IDS, GM GDS2, Autel, Snap‑On). • Supply compatible diagnostic software licenses and ongoing updates. • Deliver rugged Windows‑10 laptops/tablets with accessories. • Conduct classroom and hands‑on training (6‑hour modules) covering engine, electrical, brake, transmission, chassis, ADAS, and cybersecurity topics. • Offer training at four designated county locations or vendor site (≤50 mi). • Ensure one‑year warranty, technical support, and rapid delivery (≤30 days).
