The State of South Carolina is seeking a contractor to provide comprehensive security guard services—including both armed and unarmed personnel—and certified K‑9 officer‑pair teams for South Carolina State University’s main campus in Orangeburg and several satellite locations. The contract will run for up to five years, with an initial one‑year base period and four one‑year renewal options. The contractor must supply all labor, equipment, uniforms, vehicles, and training, and must meet stringent SLED licensing, bonding, insurance, and background‑screening requirements. • Provide 41,600 unarmed guard hours and 4,160 armed guard hours annually (evaluation quantities). • Deliver K‑9 officer‑pair services (6,400 unarmed and 4,160 armed K‑9 hours annually) with certified narcotics‑ and weapons‑detection dogs. • Supply patrol vehicles, uniforms, radios, and required weapons; perform site‑specific duties such as campus patrol, gate security, event security, emergency response, and detailed reporting.
