Sources Sought, Overnight Veterans Shelter

The Department of Veterans Affairs is seeking information from potential contractors to provide temporary overnight shelter and food for male veterans. The shelter must be located within 20 miles of the Atlanta VAMC and provide a safe and secure environment for the veterans. The contractor will be responsible for providing room and board, meals, laundry facilities, and support services for the veterans. The contract period will be 12 months with four 1-year option periods. Some key requirements include: • Providing a safe and secure environment for the veterans • Offering meals and snacks that meet USDA dietary guidelines • Providing laundry facilities and access to a power source for charging cell phones • Maintaining a drug and alcohol-free environment • Ensuring that the facility is accessible to and usable by physically disabled people • Complying with all applicable local, state, and national health, safety, environmental laws, regulations, and building codes
