Provide Hazardous Fuels Chipping Services

The Municipality of Anchorage is seeking a qualified contractor to provide hazardous‑fuels (vegetation) chipping services for the Anchorage Fire Department’s community‑wildfire‑protection program. The work involves removing, chipping, and hauling woody material from residential driveways and adjacent rights‑of‑way within designated high‑hazard zones. The contractor must meet production targets, comply with Davis‑Bacon prevailing‑wage rules, and handle all disposal logistics while maintaining safety and traffic‑control standards. • Perform up to 36 operational chipping days within a 90‑day window (July–September 2026). • Minimum production of 25 piles per day (target 50‑100 piles), each pile ≤ 10 × 10 × 4 ft and ≤ 16 in. diameter. • Provide equipment, crew, traffic‑control measures, and disposal of wood chips (incl. landfill or recycling fees). • Submit a cost worksheet, signed proposal, federal provisions, and required forms; comply with EEO, safety, and environmental clauses.
