The City of Salina is seeking a qualified contractor to provide a two‑year waste‑tire recovery service at its municipal solid‑waste landfill. The contractor will collect all tires deposited by the City, transport them to an approved disposal facility, and keep the landfill area clean and safe. Bidders must submit per‑tire rates for five tire categories and demonstrate compliance with Kansas and federal environmental regulations, as well as carry required insurance. The work is performed on a monthly or on‑demand basis during normal landfill operating hours. • Remove, load, transport, and properly dispose of all waste tires (passenger, light‑truck, truck/equipment, and heavy‑equipment categories). • Provide all labor, trucks, loaders, and related equipment; ensure site cleanliness after each removal. • Follow KDHE, EPA, and City specifications; retain records for three years and submit monthly invoicing.
