Wheat DNA Library Sequencing

The USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) in Raleigh, NC seeks a qualified contractor to perform next‑generation sequencing (NGS) of wheat DNA library pools using the AVITI platform. The contractor will receive up to 22 library pools (sent in batches) from USDA, sequence them, and deliver raw sequencing data within 21 calendar days of receipt of each batch. USDA will cover shipping of the libraries and will handle any library re‑construction if QC fails on USDA’s side; the contractor may be asked to repeat QC at its own cost if the failure is contractor‑based. The work supports ongoing genetic investigations of complex plant traits.
