Description
This contract awards a five‑year concession (with one optional five‑year renewal) to operate a food‑service and beach‑equipment‑rental facility at Beals Point, Folsom Lake State Recreation Area. The concessionaire must provide light meals, snacks, non‑alcoholic beverages, and rent out approved watercraft and beach gear, while maintaining safety, environmental, and ADA compliance. Financial obligations include a minimum annual rent of $2,500 or 10 % of gross receipts (whichever is greater), monthly rent payments, a performance bond equal to six months’ rent, and extensive insurance coverage. The concessionaire is also required to submit monthly gross‑receipt reports, annual financial statements, and maintain a range of operational records for at least four years.
